Wagner’s “Die Walküre” at NCPA Beijing

On April 29, May 1, and May 3, Pietari Inkinen will conduct Wagner’s Die Walküre at the NCPA Beijing.

This new production, directed by Davide Livermore, features a distinguished cast: Ewa Vesin as Brünnhilde, Egils Silins as Wotan, Daniel Brenna as Siegmund, Manuela Uhl as Sieglinde, Okka von der Damerau as Fricka, and Liang Li as Hunding in the main roles.

Pietari Inkinen made his Bayreuth Festival debut with Die Walküre in 2021, later leading the complete Ring Cycle in 2023. His acclaimed Wagner interpretations also include award-winning productions of Das Rheingold and Die Walküre at Teatro Massimo in Palermo, as well as Ring Cycles for Opera Australia in 2013 and 2016.

Concerts with Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and Sergey Khachatryan

In December 2025, Pietari Inkinen makes his debut with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, conducting concerts on the 4th and 6th at Atlanta Symphony Hall. The program brings him together again with violinist Sergey Khachatryan, with whom he appeared earlier this season in Armenia.

Sibelius and Bartók at Suntory Hall

On November 27, Pietari Inkinen returns to Tokyo for a concert at Suntory Hall, leading the Yomiuri Nippon Symphony Orchestra in a programme centred on Sibelius and Bartók. Polish pianist Piotr Anderszewski appears as soloist in Bartók’s Piano Concerto No. 3.
