Concert with the Orchestra del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino

Pietari Inkinen will return to Florence to lead the Orchestra del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino on 21 November.

The concert will open with Sibelius’s Symphony No. 2, a work of luminous beauty and emotional breadth. The program continues with two masterpieces by Ravel: La valse and Daphnis et Chloé. In these works, Ravel’s distinctive orchestral voice moves from the swirling, vertiginous world of the waltz to the radiant sensuality of ancient myth. Together, they showcase the French composer’s mastery of color and rhythm, in striking contrast to Sibelius’s sweeping Northern landscapes.

Pietari Inkinen makes debut with Orquestra Simfònica Illes Balears

On 15 January, Pietari Inkinen conducts a concert with the Orquestra Simfònica Illes Balears at the Auditorium de Palma de Mallorca. The programme brings together three contrasting works of the 20th century: Maurice Ravel’s “Ma mère, l’oye”, Frank Martin’s Violin Concerto - performed by Frank Peter Zimmermann - and Béla Bartók’s “Concerto for Orchestra”, which concludes the evening.

Concerts with Utah Symphony and Shai Wosner

Concerts with Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and Sergey Khachatryan

In December 2025, Pietari Inkinen makes his debut with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, conducting concerts on the 4th and 6th at Atlanta Symphony Hall. The program brings him together again with violinist Sergey Khachatryan, with whom he appeared earlier this season in Armenia.

Sibelius and Bartók at Suntory Hall

On November 27, Pietari Inkinen returns to Tokyo for a concert at Suntory Hall, leading the Yomiuri Nippon Symphony Orchestra in a programme centred on Sibelius and Bartók. Polish pianist Piotr Anderszewski appears as soloist in Bartók’s Piano Concerto No. 3.
