New Year’s Concerts with the Deutsche Radio Philharmonie

Pietari Inkinen will say farewell to 2023 with a New Year’s Eve concert on December 31 in Kaiserslautern, Fruchthalle, and will welcome 2024 with a New Year’s Concert in Mainz, Rheingoldhalle, conducting the Deutsche Radio Philharmonie in the same program that includes Ludwig van Beethoven’s Symphony No. 5 in C minor, Op. 67 (“Fate Symphony”), and Symphony No. 3 in E♭ major, Op. 55.

SR 2 KulturRadio will live broadcast the first event on December 31 at 17:00h local time. The concert on the 1st of January will be recorded for a transmission on SWR2 on January 5 at 13:05h local time.

Pietari Inkinen makes debut with Orquestra Simfònica Illes Balears

On 15 January, Pietari Inkinen conducts a concert with the Orquestra Simfònica Illes Balears at the Auditorium de Palma de Mallorca. The programme brings together three contrasting works of the 20th century: Maurice Ravel’s “Ma mère, l’oye”, Frank Martin’s Violin Concerto - performed by Frank Peter Zimmermann - and Béla Bartók’s “Concerto for Orchestra”, which concludes the evening.
