Series of New Year’s Concerts with DRP and Luxembourg Philharmonic

Pietari Inkinen will welcome 2025 with the Deutsche Radio Philharmonie, conducting the orchestra at the Fruchthalle Kaiserslautern on New Year’s Eve. The program, featuring works by Wagner, Dvořák, Lehár, Kálmán, and Strauß, will be performed again at the Rheingoldhalle in Mainz on January 1. Soprano Olga Bezsmertna and tenor Peter Sonn will be the vocal soloists for these concerts.

On January 12, Pietari Inkinen will lead the DRP in a similar program at the Festspielhaus Baden-Baden, this time starring soprano Camilla Nylund and tenor Andreas Schager.

Between these engagements, he will return to Luxembourg for another New Year’s Concert, this time with the Luxembourg Philharmonic Orchestra and soprano Elisabeth Teige. The program will include music by Grieg, Wagner, Strauss, Kálmán, Strauß, and Bernstein.
