Mahler’s 3rd Symphony in Copenhagen

Pietari Inkinen makes his debut with the Danish National Symphony Orchestra on June 1, 2024. Replacing Michael Tilson Thomas, who has withdrawn from this concert for health reasons, Pietari conducts Mahler’s Symphony No. 3 with mezzo-soprano Alice Coote. The one-off concert takes place at the Concerthuset Copenhagen.

Pietari Inkinen conducted Mahler’s epic 3rd Symphony just a week ago in Seoul with the KBS Symphony Orchestra. He will return to the Austrian composer in September leading Lieder eines fahrenden Gesellen with the Deutsche Radio Philharmonie in Saarbrücken.
